Parent FAQ

Where does my teen go and what can they expect?

On Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m., your teen can join you alongside their peers in worship and volunteer service. We encourage our teens to dig deep in the Word of God as they attentively listen to biblical exposition and participate in corporate worship.

On Wednesday nights our teens meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. They start together on the north side of the gym for refreshments and games before they break for age and gender-specific small group study times in the teen rooms of the church.

If your student is looking for the next step of deeper connection with their peers in pursuit of a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, the Arise Teen Group is totally for them! We look forward to meeting them.

What will my student be learning?

Our goal is to teach truth. So whether we’re in a series about leadership, breaking down a book of the Bible, or talking through how to be a good friend – you can trust that your student will always hear age-appropriate, Biblical messages based on reflecting the purpose and personality of Jesus.

How can I encourage my student to come?

We understand that church can feel intimidating, especially when it feels like you don’t know anyone yet. Just like when a new school year starts, the best way to walk alongside your students is to encourage them to attend. The more they get involved, the more involved they’ll want to be – like most things, it becomes easier with time!

Young Adults

Wednesday Night | Arise Teen Group

Our goal is to create an environment for your teen to feel connected with their friends and leaders, all while learning about the purpose and personality of Jesus. We want to help shape the way teens view church while passionately pointing them to a personal walk with God.

Arise Teen Worship Events

From time to time, we organize a teenage all-nighter or a special worship evening. These events offer your teens a unique chance to break away from their regular school routines. We have a great time during these Teen activities, but what makes them truly special is the chance for spiritual growth that they offer.

Summer Teen Camp | The Wilds of N.E.

Every summer, your teen will have an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful week at the best teen camp in the Northeast! The Wilds of New England in Deering, New Hampshire, exists to invest deeply in the lives of teenagers.

This is just what every teenager is looking for – fun with friends, lots of fun things to do, and an opportunity to grow closer in their walk with God.

Regional and International Mission Trips

Once every four years, your teen will have the opportunity to be a part of something so much bigger than them. God’s work is big, amazing, and so rewarding to be in.

On our most recent trip, our teens spent a week in inner city Atlanta helping a new church plant. They labored, laughed, and learned so much!
